Open Federal Discretionary Grants
The University of Maryland’s Center for Advanced Transportation Technology (CATT) works with local, state and federal partners on a wide range of grant opportunities to support transportation improvement, modernization and technical demonstration projects. Over the past 20 years, CATT has worked with many partners on a variety of grants totaling more than $50M.
The 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (“Bipartisan Infrastructure Law”) provides a $1.2 trillion investment in US infrastructure intended to rebuild roads, bridges and rails, upgrade and expand public transit, modernize the nation’s ports and airports, improve safety, and invest in communities. Based on this legislation, the following list of transportation-related grant opportunities are currently open and may be applicable to local and state agency initiatives. Other federal grant opportunities are also included in this list. Please contact UMD CATT for information about potential grant partnerships.
